The Mission of California State University, East Bay's Women's Studies Program is to provide undergraduate students minoring in Women's Studies with a culturally sensitive introduction to the research, literature, and methodologies of gender/Women's Studies within, social, and economic persepctives, taught by an interdisciplinary diverse faculty committed to the Program Outcomes, in order to achieve a basic understanding of local, regional, national, and global power relations and how those relationships affect issues of gender/women contemporarily and historically.
