SOLO: This showcase features original solo performance (storytelling,
political/socio
rants, life
story and intimate secrets). All types are encouraged to audition. This
will be
paired
with TONGUES by Sam Shepard,
and Choreographed by Eric Kupers, a
transformational/environmental piece.

PAN AND WENDY

A brand new retelling of the classic Peter Pan story. The large cast includes Peter, the
Darling Family, the Lost Boys, Captain Hook and
Pirates, Tiger Lily and the Crocodile.
“Mary”
and “Wendy” need to sing and some characters have British accents.

like “Take the A Train,” “Satin Doll,” “Mood Indigo” and more. Dancing is in

great Tap
and Jazz tradition of Catherine Dunham and Alvin Ailey.

THE IAGO PROJECT
Directed
by Marc Jacobs & Choreographed by Nina Haft
This
is an original play by Marc Jacobs about domestic abuse in the military. The
theatre-
dance piece explores the relationship between Iago
and Emilia in Shakespeare’s
Othello
and compares it to the murder of 4 military wives in Fort Bragg by their
soldier
husbands
who had recently returned from active duty in Iraq.
This
will be a developmental workshop during the Spring
2009 quarter, with the production planned for Fall 2009.
5 men, 5 women plus Dancers.
