a not-for-profit, nonpartisan organization that supports the work of the
United Nations and encourages active civic participation in the most important
social and economic issues facing the world today.

The center is the product of intergenerational and multi-cultural family
of UN supporters and volunteers. Among these volunteers are retired professionals,
community activists, university graduates, college interns, middle school
and high school students.
MUNFW http://www.munfw.org Model United Nations is a simulation program for college students
in which they participate in model sessions of the UN in an effort to
advance their understanding of the principles and means by which international
relations may be maintained. The program helps students develop a greater
understanding of the world.
The United Nations was established on October 24th, 1945 by 51 countries
committed to preserving peace through international cooperation and collective
security. Today, nearly every nation in the world belongs to the U.N.
Membership is presently at 191 nations.
