JOHAN KLEHS

Johan Klehs was a member of the California State Assembly 1982-94 and then was reelected in 2002. Between 1994 and 2002, he served on the California State Board of Equalization, much of the time as chair. http://democrats.assembly.ca.gov/members/a18/biography.htm

ELIHU HARRIS

Mayor of Oakland, 1990-98. Before that, member of the California State Assembly, 1978-1990. Was also Executive Director of the National Bar Association. Currently Chancellor of the Peralta Community College District.

MICHAEL SWEENEY

Member of the California State Assembly 1994-8. Before that, Mayor of Hayward, and candidate for mayor again this year.
