Misato Weber

Ms. Misato Weber was born and raised in Japan, where she studied piano at Yamaha Music School. She studied piano performance at California State University, East Bay under Ms. Ellen Wassermann, graduating cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in 1997 and Master of Arts in 2000. She has studied organ privately under Sgt. Floyd Werle and Dr. Valerie Sterk.

She has received awards from the Ann and Gordon Getty Foundation and from the Music Teachers Association of California. She has taught piano at Cal State East Bay since 2004. She has worked as an accompanist, playing for competitions and concerts, and traveling with choirs. She plays extensively, solo or as an accompanist, in liturgical settings, choirs, symphonies, and at ceremonies and special events. She also teaches private students of all ages and levels.
