Soprano Pamela Hicks is co-director of the Opera Workshop and a lecturer in voice. Among many other attainments she is the winner of Licia Albanese Prize and a national winner of the New York Metropolitan Opera Auditions, and was praised for her performance in the German premiere of The Last Savage by Gian-Carlo Menotti, with the composer directing.
Ms. Hicks appears often with local organizations, most recently as Verdi's Lady Macbeth in North Bay Opera's Macbeth and as Anna Glavari in the San Francisco Lamplighter's production of The Merry Widow.
Pamela Hicks joined the CSUEB music faculty in the fall of 2007.
