My passion is teaching. Since early in my career I have sought to bring interesting ideas into my curriculum. Thinking outside of the box has been the norm for me. Currently I am focused on developing online courses that use technology in innovative ways to reach a diverse population of students wherever they may be.

When I am on the move I enjoy swimming, power walking, and strength training. I participated in the Honolulu marathon.

In quieter moments I like knitting and quilt making and playing with my twin nieces.
