Student Photographs -- Non-English Inscriptions.


  1. This one puzzled all of us, as did the symbol to the left of the photograph of the deceased.



  2. This script appears Arabic.



  3. And this looks like Hebrew.



  4. And this is Chinese. Sometimes the Chinese script would be in red, indicating that the person was not dead yet but that this would be their eventual resting place, at which time the red would be removed and white, black, gold, or other colors would be used.
