From a distance, this looks like many other husband and wife markers. Up close, however, we see that this headstone is for two men. The inscription reads:
In Loving Memory
They have been called
to the garden.
We shall miss them
for we loved them so
and our hearts will
guard their memory
'till we ourselves are called
to walk hand in hand with
them through eternity.
This photo was cropped, but it showed many more
stuffed animals, small statues, and other mementos. And
lots more flowers.

This man was born in France in 1882 and died in 1943
at the age of 61, fifty-four years ago. Note that there
is room for someone alongside, but we don't think she is
likely to show up...

This couple chose a mausoleum vault for their final
resting place together.

Edward was born in 1891 and Ethel in 1894, and they died in their mid-80s only a few months apart. Their inscription reads:
The mystery of love is more
profound than the mystery of death.
