At present, OCCAM'S RAZOR only accepts submissions from Cal State East Bay Students and recent graduates. The magazine is published in the fall and spring.
The spring issue showcases the winners of the R. V. Williams Fiction Writing Contest. All issues feature fiction and poetry.

Occam's Razor is published at California State University, East Bay. Submissions should be brought or mailed to the Department of English, Cal State East Bay, Hayward, CA 94542. Submit two copies of your work and include your phone number and a brief author biography for the Contributor's column. If you wish to have your manuscript returned, include a self-addressed, stamped envelope large enough to contain one copy of the manuscript. If you wish only to be notified of the status of your submitted work, please enclose a letter-size SASE. At present, only Cal State East Bay students and alumni are eligible to submit their work. The rights of all published works remain with the authors.
