CONTRIBUTORS
MARK CABASINO received a B.A. in communications and English from St. Mary's College and then enrolled in the master's program in English at Cal State East Bay. He will be returning to St. Mary's for its Master's of Fine Arts program in the fall of 1995.
ANNE MARIE DAVIS earned a B.A. in art from Cal State East Bay before returning later to study geology and then take a job with the U. S. Geological Survey. She became interested in writing when she sat in one day on a creative writing class at Merritt College.
RODNEY DUNICAN graduated winter 1994 with a major in English. He is currently the production manager of the graphics department at Vargas Marketing Group. His cover illustration for this issue of Occam's Razor is based on a photograph he took of a face sketched on the Berlin Wall.
KATHLEEN EASON is an English major.
MAXIMILIANO GARDE had a B.A. in sociology from Berkeley when he enrolled in the graduate program in English at Cal State East Bay. He plans to go on for a Ph.D. in English.
CHERYL GRADY graduated in Spring 1995 with a major in kinesiology (emphasis in clinical exercise). As a former secretary for an investment company, she said, "I would do anything they wanted done if they'd only ask, not demand."
ANITA LINKER graduated in Spring 1995 and is seeking work as a technical writer and as a free lance writer and editor. She is currently doing an internship with The Channel, a newspaper covering West Contra Costa County.
KEVIN LIPSKI graduated in Summer 1995 with an English major. He plans to move to Missoula, Montana, get in some trout fishing, and work on a master's in English.
MARY LUNDBERG graduated in Spring 1994 with a major in English. She expects to finish a master's degree in education in Summer 1995 and to continue working on a master's in teaching English as a second language.
CORNELIO MONTEZ graduated Winter 1994 with a major in English, and is currently working at the Hayward Public Library. He recently had a poem published in The Liberty Hill Poetry Review.
SONJA MURCH graduated in Spring 1995 with a major in English and a minor in theater. She plans to enter the credential program in Summer 1996. Her motto is "If you do foolish things, do them with enthusiasm."
LEAH NELSON graduated in Spring 1995 with a major in English. She is co-editor of the Benicia Bay Review. As a result of caring for her ailing grandfather, she has decided to earn a B.A. in nursing.
KATHERINE POBLITZ is a senior majoring in geology, "but Lord knows where I'll end up!" She breeds parakeets and does volunteer animal rescue work.
KAREN REYES is majoring in English, with a minor in creative writing. She teaches tae kwon do to children from ages five to twelve and is also working on a family geneology that will include oral anecdotes and poems.
RUTH REED RHODES has a B.A. in art history and a M.A. in English, both from Cal State East Bay.
JEROME SALYERS earned his B.A. in English during Summer 1994 and spent the following year doing lighting design for an opera house in Bremen, Germany, where his wife was a singer.
CHINA TAMBLYN is an art and education major.
