- Social
Science Database Archive now offers Web-based analysis and data subsetting
(Survey Documentation Analysis). SSDBA users can execute frequencies, crosstabulations,
mean comparisons, and correlations on selected data sets. Currently this feature
is available for the General Social Survey (1972-1998), the American National
Elections Study (1948-1998), and 1999 California Field Polls. Users can create
customized data subsets and access online documentation that contains a full
description of each variable. The subset option generates a data file, a codebook,
and data definitions for SAS, SPSS, or Stata.
- Fedstats
The Federal Interagency Council on Statistical policy maintains this
site to provide easy access to the full range of statistics and information
produced by more than 70 agencies in the United States Federal Government
for public use.
