The Pioneer newspaper is full of diverse topics which include student issues and current affairs in the East Bay. There is a complete staff comprising students and faculty. The Pioneer is circulated weekly and free to the public.

* Digital Photography:
Is a unique class offered at CSUEB in conjunction with the Art department. Students learn the value of exploration with an emphasis on working together in teams.
