Clinical Rehabilitative Services Credential-
Language, Speech and Hearing/Audiology
The Speech Pathology and Audiology faculty in the Department of Communicative Sciences and Disorders have developed a program of graduate study designed to fulfill the requirements for the Clinical-Rehabilitative Services Credential in Language, Speech and Hearing/Audiology. This credential is required for employment in the public schools.
Individuals wishing to obtain this credential must meet all requirements of the Master of Science degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology, including an internship in the public schools (SPPA 6066 for 6 units), and a 4-unit, advisor approved course in Educational Psychology (ESPY 5021).
Because students enter Cal State East Bay with differing academic and clinical backgrounds, it is imperative that each student consult a department advisor in the planning of a course of study within the first quarter of enrollment.
