How to Apply
The department accepts applications to the graduate program for the Fall Quarter only. Note that undergraduate students starting at CSUEB Fall 2010 must also apply to the major. If you have any questions after reviewing application information, please contact the department at 510.885.3233.

APPLICATION DEADLINE: For the department application, postmarked January 1st through February 15, or April 3rd for post baccalaureate students currently enrolled at CSUEB having completed SPPA prerequisite requirements Fall 2009 and registered for SPPA prerequisite requirements Winter 2010. For undergraduate students currently still in classes this Fall term, it is recommended that you wait to complete the university on-line application until your Fall grades have posted so that the most current GPA information is reported to the department by the university Admissions department.

For The Undergraduate Program:
To be eligible to begin the two year B.S. degree course sequence in Speech Pathology and Audiology (SPPA) in Fall 2010, students must demonstrate a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 on a 4 point scale. Note that continuation in the major requires a “B” grade or better in SPPA 3854, SPPA 3855, and SPPA 3859. More information regarding these requirements will be available in May, when the university 2010-2011 catalog will be posted.
