The Tadyawan live on the
eastern and northeastern edges of Mindoro, and are part of the island's
more general Mangyan culture. They live in settlements of five to twelve
single-family houses, which are situated on slopes near mountain streams
and named after the oldest resident. They do not use the island's Indic
script.
